Im Hubsan Fred bei RC Groups wurde eine nicht dokumentierte Kalibrierungsmöglichkeit gepostet:
1. Set your Tx trims to neutral.
2. Make sure you are in normal mode with a solid and not blinking LED on the Tx.
3. To do an accelerometer calibration, put the quad on a level surface. Push the throttle/rudder stick
to the right and full down. Move the aileron/elevator stick left-right back and forth repeatedly until you see the X4's blue LEDs blink. That means the accelerometer level calibration has been done.
4. Apply enough throttle to get the props spinning, but not take off, then apply hover power without touching the pitch/roll stick and note any direction it drifts other than going straight. Land and put in a click of trim in the opposite direction that it wants to drift. Repeat as necessary until it takeoff and does not immediately start drifting. Note that any wind, vent air etc will cause it to drift so do not adjust trim for that. With no wind and properly trimmed and calibrated it should be able to stay in front of you for at least 5-10 seconds before you have to input corrections to keep it in place.
5. When flying a multicopter with an accelerometer, when you input stick to fly in a direction you release and then counter with reverse stick to stop the movement.
